About me . . .
As a licensed clinical psychologist with 24 years of clinical experience and a published author, I bring a diversity of education and experience to my practice.
I received my
Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 1993. Prior to
opening a psychology practice in Broomfield, I practiced in Santa Cruz, CA
for ten years. I have worked in community mental health, corrections, long-term care, pain management, public administration, with multidisciplinary medical teams, and as a community mediator. My therapy approach is eclectic and holistic. As a long-time practitioner of Insight
Meditation, I find mindfulness-based techniques to be useful in my work with clients.
While a generalist in practice, I have a special interest in working with midlife transitions and am the author of the book Endings. Beginnings... When Midlife Women Leave Home in Search of Authenticity (www.bemepress.com)
